This issue of Youth Flash features the article “Why education needs more than just lip service and public speeches” written by Anshul Tewari, an Ashoka Fellow and the founder and editor-in-chief of Youth ki Awaaz. He describes the importance of education in creating a sustainable future for youth and the lack of access to educational material plaguing many of the schools in India. Anshul believes that a good start is to provide schools with the necessary textbooks they currently aren’t receiving.
