Details of Event: The purpose and intention of the panel discussion is to identify and analysis range of approaches and interventions strategies that could apply to tackle impact of parental incarceration at country and international level. The focus is on the impact and effectiveness of various approaches in breaking the links between recidivism, domestic violence, juvenile offenders, insecurity and child development. It will identify challenges associated with measuring the impact of these approaches and include possible indicators with relevant data-sets that could be used to capture impact. It is intended to act as a useful resources for child rights protection and promotion practitioners, existing child development or development of new programmes aimed at tackling the destabilising impact of parental incarceration on child development, including child rights, child institutionalism, adoption, and social-justice objectives. It also seek to inform policy makers working on broader organisational approaches to addressing impact of incarceration on children as a drive to country security, including cross-government approaches and inter-government development, and respect for individual human rights, It is hope that by identifying key indicators relating to a wide range of approaches to addressing the multiple needs of children of incarcerated parents, a set of common indicators can be developed that may be used to assess progress against children in difficult circumstances at both national and international level.

Details of Event: The panelists will discuss what has been learned on how to combat a contemporary crisis as the Ebola pandemic by raising awareness through education and ICT's; and how to rethink contemporary and advanced ICT; social media; and education efforts to minimize the given fact of future pandemics: human; livestock and agricultural.
