Civil Society Participation at the Commission for Social Development, 11-21 February 2014
The Fifty-Second Session of the Commission for Social Development will take place from 11 to 21 February 2014 at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
 
The priority theme is "Promoting empowerment of people in achieving poverty eradication, social integration and full employment and decent work for all".  This year will be devoted to the policy segment of the cycle.

NGOs are strongly encouraged to UPDATE their organizational profile (before pre-registering for our events) using the integrated Civil Society Organizations (iCSO) System developed by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) to facilitate interactions between civil society organizations and DESA.

DESA has also developed CSO Net - the Civil Society Network, a web portal that facilitates online pre-registration to UN conferences open for civil society participation.
