The United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) is an advisory body to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), with a mandate to discuss indigenous issues related to economic and social development, culture, the environment, education, health and human rights.

Call for applications for the UN Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples to attend the fourteenth session of the Permanent Forum is open. The deadline to submit applications has been extended to 30 November 2014.

On 11 April 2014, the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues will participate in a roundtable discussion on Indigenous Peoples during the 7th session of the World Urban Forum to be held in Medellin, Colombia.
